When a paid plan exists it will be $24 for the first year, a price that never changes, then $6 a month.
There is nothing to buy yet.
A paid plan may buy more of something. It will never buy access to the truth about your own code — what a scan could not read, and what a change reaches, are on every account.
At these amounts a fixed processing fee is the largest single cost line. One payment a year instead of twelve is worth about ten points of margin — more than the difference in price — so annual will be the default, and the founding price exists only there.
No country detection, no VPN arbitrage, no parallel payment setups. For one person shipping alone that simplicity is worth real money, and it buys back weeks.
